CITRO ON-SHORE RESCUER

  Supporting CITRO not only voluntary but also financially

    Introduction

CITRO cordially invites you to become an On-shore-rescuer. By doing this you support CITRO to be readily available to rescue those in distress at sea. The Citizens Rescue Organization 'CITRO' has been in existence for over 25 years. The organization is made up of a group of volunteers, who are on call and prepared for sea rescue 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You can support CITRO by filling out a standing-order at the bank and sign up as a an " On-shore Rescuer ". The CITRO Volunteers rescue approx. 80 persons each year from difficult and often life threatning situations.

    THE ON-SHORE RESCUER

CITRO works in close conjunction with the local authorities, a.o. the Local Police Department, Fire Department, Curaçao Ports Authority, the Royal Dutch Navy, the Coast Guard Netherlands Antilles & Aruba. Without any doubt, CITRO has knowledge and expertise on their side. The volunteers are trained locally as well as internationally in order for them to perform sea rescues both safely and responsibly.

 

CITRO can only reach its goals if and when there are sufficient funds available. At this point CITRO, with 2 life boats and approximately 30 volunteers is capable of sea rescues at any time. CITRO is in search of people who can finance this initiative from the shore. These are our 'On-shore-Rescuers'. You can become an on-shore Rescuer right now. In this matter you voluntarily aid the community in making these sea rescues possible.

 

Help us rescue, right away. Tomorrow we will be in a hurry... we will be on our way... far away.. to people in distress at sea...We will do the rescuing. Will you do the financing?

You can sign up as on on-shore rescuer by filling out a standing order to transfer a fixed amount per annum to the CITRO account at the Madurro & Curiel's Bank. You will then be supporting CITRO on-shore. For which we will be very thankful. CITRO really needs and appreciate your support.
